29/365: Day of the Jackal
One of the surprises of our African safari was seeing jackals up close and personal. I'd always had negative impressions of jackals, but I think I had them mixed up with Hyenas. In reality, they are really cute -- sort of like bushy tailed terriers -- they have cute little yips and they mate for life. I'm a new fan of jackals and I'm sure Oscar and Lucy would welcome one into the pack.
